Week 2- Day 7 (PEACE - against anxiety)

MAKES & BUILDS - Preparing for the Feast of the Nativity

Each weekend, we have the opportunity to MAKE and to BUILD. 

For MAKES, we get to explore some recipes - some might be familiar, some might be new! This week’s MAKES include recipes from BREADS and DRINKS. 

Feel free to grab the recipe cards (included) or find your own and explore. Note: if you’re using the recipe cards provided in the kit, we’re from the Midwest (Indiana), so if you aren’t from here, these recipes might have some new flavors for you!

For BUILDS, we are building or gathering each of the characters and items to create a nativity! Using the printout provided, cut out each of the shapes, grab some tape, and put on your imagination cap. Assemble today’s cast from items you have around your home (or that you can make simply) to start to build the nativity. Example: take a cotton ball and tape SHEEP to it. For an extra level of creativity, put some intentional thought into making the connection meaningful between the item and the label.

For this week, we are preparing the SHEPHERDS, SHEEP, and BETHLEHEM.
